Aaron & his team (Danielle, Theresa, etc) are EXTRAORDINARY!!!! The way they "held my hand" through the process of purchasing my first home is undeniable. Underwriting is a very scary part of this process; however, Aaron would reach out with words of encouragement & let me know everything is working out. I was a little nervous with working with a company outside of my home state, however Aaron never missed a beat. He was always accessible via email, phone and/or text. Caitlyn was also wonderful. I had back surgery right when we started the process. She and (VU) sent flowers and we'll wishes. That personal touch was very good. You usually don't get that from big companies. She also was very responsive and helpful during the whole process. She answered all questions and if she didn't know the questions she found out for us.
Nick and Jacob are PHENOMENAL!! It was a trying process due to factors out of their control and they never quit trying to find solutions for other people's incompetence!!

The VA process is very intense. Most business days, 2 to as many as 5, response requests were received in my email. And when you believe you are in perfect shape, and received an all-clear, you receive a to-do requesting your previous months bank statement showing ALL SOURCES OF YOUR FUNDS FROM CLOSING. Would have been a keen idea to tell me to move brokerage $$$ in advance instead of jumping through panic hoops!
