Branch Manager, USN Veteran (Retired Force Master Chief)
Retired Command Master Chief Brannon Knox is a native of Pawley’s Island, SC. Brannon enlisted in the Navy and honorably served our country for 29 years prior to retiring in April, 2015. In eight years as a Command Master Chief, Brannon was instrumental to E-3 and junior Sailors receiving sea pay, the implementation of the Meritorious Advancement Program, and numerous other policies and programs for Sailors serving our Navy. There is no bigger satisfaction for Brannon than helping Veterans and their familys accomplish the goal of home ownership when they didn't believe it would ever come true. He is married to the former Kimberly D. Allen and they have four beautiful children: Markita, 37;Sasha, 32; Lester, 30; and DeNeisha, 29 and eight grandchildren.
Miguel Rosinski is an energetic and passionate Veteran of the United States Navy who served for more than 20 years. Now, in the mortgage industry, Miguel is honored to be able to help his fellow Veterans achieve the American Dream of homeownership. He believes in building lasting relationships with his customers and can offer a true understanding of the things Veterans and service members go through. When he’s not at work, Miguel enjoys spending time with his wife and three kids. Together, they share two German Shepards and love to watch movies, play outside and enjoy time with their church's fellowship.
Joseph is a proud Navy veteran and loan officer for Veterans United in San Antonio. He is an OIF Veteran, born and raised in San Antonio, TX and is excited to be able to help fellow serviceman across Texas through such a large milestone. By taking part in veterans organizations such as Christian Warrior Retreat and Warrior’s Keep Organization, Joseph knows the many struggles that veterans face when returning home but hopes to use this to make sure that they are getting the best possible treatments at Veterans United. He enjoys barbecuing for family and friends, coaching his two daughters in sports, spending time with his wife and staying outdoors fishing and hunting.
Loan Officer Kyle Rutkoski is originally from St. Charles, Missouri, and moved to Columbia, MO in 2012. Now, he and his fiancée are relocating to San Antonio where she will work as an equestrian veterinarian. Kyle has been with Veterans United since 2016 and enjoys educating borrowers about the VA Loan process while helping them maximize their benefits. In San Antonio, he looks forward to finding new places to explore, restaurants to try, events and concerts to attend. He also enjoys a good game of rugby on the weekends!
Loan Officer Alea Creighton Schuyler is new to the mortgage industry but as part of a dual military family, she offers a unique perspective on military life. Alea and her husband each served over 20 years in the military, and know the value of perseverance and hard work. Since she served as a leader in the military, she is comfortable taking the lead and guiding others through an experience – and she's excited to work with your on your home loan journey! She works hard to ensure you reach your goals with a smile on your face. Outside of work, Alea spends time with her husband, two daughters, and their dog. They enjoy jujitsu, dance, gymnastics, and swimming. She is also completing her master’s degree at the University of the Incarnate Word.
Branch Loan Coordinator
Keagen Phipps works as a branch loan coordinator at Veterans United, San Antonio. She grew up in Louisiana but was eager to move to Texas after her husband’s active duty service, and she is passionate about serving Texas Veterans through her work here. Keagen and her family have utilized the VA home loan benefit twice, so she is very familiar with the process, as well as the experience of a military family. She works hard to get keys into our borrowers’ hands because she knows how much it means to you. Outside of work, she and her husband spend time with her two daughters and their family dog exploring, cooking, and going for walks together.
Cy Dormire is a loan specialist at Veterans United Home Loans of San Antonio. Cy is new to the mortgage industry, but offers a great understanding of military life since his step-father served throughout Cy's childhood. He hopes to use this knowledge to help Veterans and their families on their homebuying journeys. When Cy is not at the office, he can be found rooting for the Kansas City Chiefs or playing with his German Shepherd.
Branch Specialist Brittany Kendall has lived in San Antonio for nearly 5 years, originally from Florida. Her father is an Air Force Veteran who spent 30 years in the service, and she has 4 cousins who have also joined different branches of the military. Brittany’s respect for service members and their families helps her succeed at Veterans United – she understands the need to feel like your new home is, in fact, home. Her favorite part of her job is helping make sure homebuyers are taken care of in an efficient and fun manner. Her life outside of work is spent with her family and 4 dogs.
Loan Specialist Brandi Nessen (NMLS 2120836) transitioned to her role with Veterans United Home Loans from her previous job helping homeless Veterans move into stable housing. This means she’s joining the San Antonio team with a deep understanding and appreciation for our mission. Beyond this, she married into a military family and learned quickly how important the stability and comfort of a home can be. This further motivates her to serve the community, treating each borrower as she would her own family. For Brandi, nothing compares to having a hand in a military family achieving their dream of homeownership. When she's at home with her own family, Brandi loves soaking up every minute with her son and husband. After moving to San Antonio for the second time, they couldn't be more glad to call our community home.
Carol Rodriguez (NMLS 1984090) joined the Veterans United Home Loans team as a Loan Specialist, excited for the opportunity to connect with and help the Veteran community. Although she’s moved around a bit from Los Angeles to Phoenix, she’s definitely earned her title as a local, having spent over a decade in the San Antonio area. Carol brings a deep level of compassion to her role, understanding how stressful and complex buying a home can be. Open communication and collaboration among all the parties involved are her top priorities as she helps homebuyers navigate the process, and ultimately achieve their homeownership dreams. In her own home, you can find Carol trying out new recipes in the kitchen. She also enjoys browsing estate sales, antique shops and flea markets on the hunt for the newest addition to her Lady Head Vase collection.
