The communication between the initial loan startup and the closing was an easy going experience. If you submit documentation in a timely manner, the process should go smoothly.
Listen. If you are serious about owning a home, Veterans United is definitely a preferred option, in my opinion. The steps it took to purchasing our home was frustrating to say the least. In my wife and I case, we were purchasing from our landlord, so a realtor wasn't necessary. However, gathering the necessary documents, coordinating with the different agencies like appraisals, home inspections, insurance, title company, and loads of paperwork, signatures, and questions are still very much a part of the process. Our team, Nick Holman, Courtney Gully, Francie Greene, and the rest of their supporting members were there from the first phone until the closing on our home. They fielded every question, listened to all of our frustration, guided us through the whole process step by step, and we're encouraging, patient, professional, and, most of all, very polite, friendly, and engaging whenever we were in contact with them. I mean they kept in touch by phone, text, and email. Even sent us mail. Who does that in this technology age? Seriously, they were the best team my wife and I could ask for in communicating with us and our landlord to make this dream a reality!! I highly recommend Veterans United to anyone who’s reading this review, or anyone who asks is this company for real. I was originally on track with another lender, until I stumbled upon Veteran’s United (and recommended by my colleague) and at first, the amount of outreach was a little overwhelming, but once I got on the phone with Greg my demeanor totally shifted. His professionalism, honesty and mentorship throughout the process made VU an easy choice! He paired me with my realtor, who has been amazing from that day, and even still after closing! I cannot say thank you enough, to Greg, and the whole VU team.
