The lending officer left me with property taxes and wouldn't call me during working hours, nor call me back or respond to messages I left on his phone.

Property taxes and how they’re handled at closing or afterward should always be clearly explained so there are no surprises. I had a pleasurable experience with Veterans United and even after closing on the home, they said they would be there for any questions I would have. My whole team has been great even through the delays by the seller. I would recommend Veterans United to any veterans looking to use their VA loan to buy a house.
The reps over promised and under delivered. I was charged fees for a concierge that did much of nothing. Also, the entire purchase as a FIRST TIME HOMEBUYER AND A DISABLED VETERAN was stressful and frustrating. I’m stuck with a home that should’ve been listed as ‘AS IS”. Highly disappointed. It’s been a month and I still can’t move in.
