I especially appreciated the Home Concierge. If I hadn't know anything about where I was moving his expertise would be especially valuable. I feel like I underutilized his skill set. :D

I would highly recommend Veterans United for buying a home. I never thought that I would be able to get a home because people I know talked about how hard it was to purchase a home. From the first phone call to my loan officer to the closing on our home, everything just fell into place because of not just the expertise of my loan officer Fahad Abdul, but his friendly and cordial manner and interest in me as a person made the whole experience a very good one. I never thought that I would be able to own my own home but they made it possible. From finding the best way to get you in a house, to getting the right realtor for you, they are on point. We are celebrating Christmas in a house of our very own thanks to Veterans United!
While we had a few bumps near the end, mostly due to our very unique situation, we are so happy that veterans United was able to get us into the home we loved. Would definitely recommend to more people in the future.
I have never been so impressed with a company and my POC, Cara Musick. Not to downgrade anyone, but I've been with USAA for 22 years. Seriously, if you had an opportunity to work with someone who is a professional and a company that makes it so easy to get a loan, even though I have an over 800 credit score, other banks and lending institutions kept making it difficult. Veterans United did the exact opposite.
Overall was a pretty frustrating experience. There were too many people handling our loan. We had to send multiples of documents due to loss or missing between agents. There was a huge lack of communication with agents except Mike. At one point they emailed to ask if we were still interested in moving forward.
I know it’s a long process and can be frustrating, but communication on the process and less hands to pass through would have made it so much better.
