This is my second time using Veterans United. That in itself is a high recommendation since this is a financial transaction that is very stressful.
Veterans United did a stellar job setting expectations and following through. The staff are extremely helpful and strive for success in the best interest of the veteran. They are firm when they need to be and detail oriented all of the time. I was extremely stressed out and they did a fine job keeping me off of the ledge! I highly recommend Veterans Inited and would recommend them to my friends.
Conner was awesome, super helpful and always available. Ran numbers multiple times for me no matter how dumb or repetitive my requests were.Once we went under contract and I was handed off to other team members, things got increasingly frustrating, being required to upload the same documents multiple times, last minute requests to verify bank accounts that had been verified at the beginning of the process already. Misreading employment information which caused multiple delays...
If I could do another loan I would choose veterans United again and will love to have the same team! We had the best team and now we have our dream home!!!!

Veterans United came through for me and I and forever thankful.
My closing was on the 13th of November. They paid off the old loan at Rocket Mortgage on time, on the 3 day following closing. I received the "Cash to Close" (to borrower, at closing), on the 5 day after closing. 6 other debts that are supposed to be paid have not yet been paid by closing. At the 12th calendar day, I guess it takes a while to get those wires out.
The process was very fast paced and there were a few too many people getting in contact. It would have been nice to just have one or two points of contact.

My experience from beginning to end was made simpler and better because of my loan team. My team was great they explained and walked me through each step and kept me encouraged.
Relax a little on home refinancing. I shouldn’t have to get a well water test or pest test if I’m already living in the home. I understand these tests for a new home but not when I’m already living in it. If it had issues, I would know.
