My team at veterans united made my purchase very smooth. As a first time home buyer I had several questions, each of them were answered and explained very clearly.
The experience was flawless. The team did an outstanding job in getting me everything that I needed and everything I needed to be prepared for. I was a first time home Buyer and the team that I worked with was always willing to help. Even when I reached out to them after buisness hours they always called me back first thing in the morning and answered the 8 thousand questions that I had. My husband, the Veteran, and me had the best experience with our Loan Officer, Jerry Landrey and his Loan Coordinator, Grace Walther!! They were both so professional and gave easy instructions on all forms needed, by giving us a checklist. They were great at answering any questions that we had. The whole process was a joy because these two were fantastic!!! I will definitely refer VU to other veterans!!! And I will recommend Jerry and Grace to them!!! I give them a grade of A++.
The loan team dropped the ball more than once. Communication was poor, I had to constantly chase people down for information and to get them to follow through. Very disappointing our second go around was so bad as our first one was great.
If you want good communication, Veterans United representatives who truly act as your advocates, and on-time delivery, Veterans United is the lender of choice. I've always believed in the cliche, Do what you say and say what you do. Veterans United lives and breathes it every day. I am very thankful for the opportunity of homeownership. I am 62 years old and my husband is a 78 year-old Vietnam veteran and we can honestly say we have never ever had such outstanding, excellent, personalized, caring, customer service as we have received from Marcus Crossgrove and his outstanding team.
