Closed on a 2nd home the beginning of last year with Veterans United, Garet and his team refinanced the home for a lower interest rate this year, which greatly reduced my mortgage payments. What a great company to work with! Austin, our Loan Officer, was very knowledgeable and communicated with us often to keep us informed about the process and what steps we needed to take to enable a timely closing. Jennifer, our Loan Coordinator, helped us gather all of the information and kept is on track throughout the process.
As one can imagine buying a home can be anxiety-inducing but Austin and Jennifer kept us grounded and made sure that the experience was pretty painless, at least from the mortgage perspective. I highly, highly recommend working with them if you have the opportunity!

We’ve used VU twice and a smaller lender once for our three total times we’ve purchased a home using the VA Loan. Will highly recommend them over and over as we haven’t seen many other lenders top their customer service and support throughout the process. We always feel informed and like we’re part of the entire process during each step, whereas other lenders keep to themselves while working on things behind the scenes. Grateful for VU and will always recommend them for VA Loans.

As a first time home buyer, we didnt know what to expect when it came to the process of buying. I called Veterans United and within that one phone call, we were set up to apply for the loan, knew how much we qualified for and at what interest rate, and were connected to the greatest realtor to help us with the hunt. We had an incredible support system; we knew who the team members were and all of them were always available for questions. Through the app, we knew what was expected of us and were easily able to provide documents through there. We felt very updated throughout the process and always knew what the status was. Then after we closed, we were pleasantly surprised with a gift sent to our new home from our team at Veterans United!
