Really liked how dumbed down easy the process is. Seemed effortless.Did not like finding out I could save 5k in closing costs and 20k over the corse of 30 yrs with a better interest rate from a different loan company.

Our experience lacked origination and repetition. Instead of one contact I think we had 3. It should've been much less difficult overall. They had all our information necessary to complete our loan. We both have excellent credit scores with no other loans except our existing home loan! We haven't paid a penny of interest on our 1 credit card in 20 years! It was my pick as a combat veteran from Vietnam to pick VU as our option. Sad but in the future I/We will look elsewhere.
We had a great experience with our loan officer and his entire team during our home buying process. We closed on our home on December 15, and they truly made everything happen quickly and smoothly. Communication was clear, timelines were met, and the whole process felt well-organized and stress-free. Their efficiency, knowledge, and support made buying our home a positive experience. We are very grateful for their hard work and would highly recommend them to anyone looking to purchase a home.
I'm still don't know monthly payment yet. Because I'm just a week after closing. Ask me again in 2 months.
Can’t thank my home buying team enough for all the work they put in to make this an easy process. Moving from Germany to Hawaii was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done but buying a new home while traveling was honestly the easiest part. A huge shout out to Ryan for making sure I understood all the financials and keeping costs at a minimum. Couldn’t be happier with how everything worked out!
I'm very glad I chose Veterans United to purchase my first home. The whole home buying process seemed very overwhelming but they somehow made it understandable in bite size pieces. I was super anxious and lost at the beginning and they held my hand at each step. With their insurance brokerage, I found cheaper auto, home, and flood insurance.

I will use local veteran mortgage business owners in the future. The rates and fees associated with VU were high and do not feel like we were a customer and more like another number in a long line of priority that caused unnecessary delays. In addition our closing documents had several flaws.
