I would recommend using Veterans United to any veterans that is considering buying a home. Veterans United definitely looks out for the client best interest and provides a variety of services best suited for the type of home that the veterans is looking for. Miguel Rosinski and Keagan Phipps are good at what they do. They are professional, courteous, caring, devoted, compassionate to the clients needs which is very important while going through a stressful journey in purchasing a home.
While Alea did play a major role in this process let’s not forget about the rest of the team that did not miss a beat and showed the same enthusiasm for my family and assisting us on this journey. Thank you, Brandi! Over the course of a year Brandi provided check ins with me and answered questions I had that made me feel confident I was ready to buy a home. Keagen was quick and decisive getting all parties on the same page to complete a very time sensitive closing date after I switched from a different lender that seemed to be a better deal for my family initially. Thank you Keagan for supporting us throughout this process. Brian was awesome as well, providing me with utility service information that made my move in process quick and painless. I was able to be in my home with all utilities within 5 days so thank you Brian. I was recommended an insurance broker that was able to get me quality insurance. This made shopping around easier since many places were giving really high premiums due to the proximity of my home to a large body of water. Matt was able to walk me through the insurance quote and explain what things would be covered. Everyone played a role in this process and helped me learn so much along the way. I’ve heard many horsey stories from others and their home buying experience, but My VU Team has made it painless. I truly appreciated working with every single one of you. Thank you so much and I’ll be recommending you to any and all of my friends/family.
They did not let me know about a crucial timeline on credit reports and it now has increased my monthly PMI and over the lifetime of the loan is over 4K more. I would look elsewhere for another company that is more on top of timelines and deadlines.
Response from Veterans United
Hi Campbell, It is our goal to provide consistent and personable communication to everyone we serve. Credit will need to be repulled if your process to close on your home exceeds 120 days. Conventional loans without a 20% down payment will require PMI to be paid but that does not correlate with your credit report. One of our Client Advocate team members has begun to research your comments, and will be working hard to learn as much as possible about what caused your concerns. While we cannot change the experience you had we are committed to accountability, exploring ways to improve, and seeking opportunities to continue serving you. Should you wish to share more information regarding this or any other matter, then please do not hesitate to connect with us.
