When I started this journey I was uneasy on buying a home because there was so much that I did not know. It also didnt help that my last lender was unavailable on sundays during the crazy housing market rush because he liked to go hunting. Kyle and his team were absolutely amazing! Knowledgeable, professional, personable and always quick to respond.This was by far the best home buying experience I’ve had…completely stress free! 5/5 stars, definitely recommend!! Crystal, my home buying concierge, was phenomenal! She checked in regularly and kept me up to date on the status of my loan. She even went above and beyond to send me all the info I would need to help me settle into my new home. She sent me information for all of my utilities, internet, nearest VA medical center, nearest DMV, grocery stores and restaurants. Wow!
The utility companies recommended by the concierge were inaccurate. I spent quite a long time researching the service providers for our house. Also when going thru the to do list leading up to our close date, we were never able to go back and review any of the documents after we had read them once. I think they should remain available to be viewed at anytime.
I had the most awesome team for our first time home buying experience. Brittany Kendall, Kara Lee, and Alea Schuyler. My husband was mostly out of the area while they helped me navigate the waters of all that needed to be done. They even kept me giggling as we traveled across multiple states to our new home in San Antonio. I felt very at ease and comfortable from the start of the home loan process and even after. I loved how they checked up that everything went smoothly our first night in the house. If you are moving to the San Antonio area. I hope you get lucky enough to have the team i had also. We had quite a unique situation that we told Kyle about right away. He told us it was a challenge but he would do everything to try and make it work. He never came back and said he couldn’t do it and went over and beyond to help us when we don’t think anyone else could have. Also, Kyle and everyone else at VU were so kind, always reached back out to us immediately but usually never had to because they usually contacted us first. So impressed with them and there are no words for how much we would recommend them.
